"Dirtyface" Zanoni
"Dirtyface" Zanoni (real first name unknown) is a Belgian gang leader who has eluded capture since approximately 1984 when he was identified by authorities as the head of a powerful national criminal organization with ties to the Italian mafia. Zanoni's gang is thought to control hundreds of millions of Euros in assets thanks to a diverse range of criminal activities including smuggling, piracy, and outright violence. Zanoni also directs a network of investors in the global stock trade, but has proven adept at shifting his money about - thus keeping his assets from being frozen by Belgian authorities or InterPol. Zanoni is often referred to as the "Godfather of Belgium." |
